'Bang Bang' singer Jessie J has revealed her hopes for a family in the future.

Currently loved-up with boyfriend Luke James, Jessie has previously said she thinks her new beau could be 'The One' and it sounds like the singer is after not only a husband, but babies too.

Opening up about motherhood, the 26-year-old revealed her wish to have children of her own - although she did go on to say they won't be arriving for a few years yet!

Speaking on Melbourne radio station KIIS 101.1, Jessie said: "[Children is] something you can never plan for, but I pray to God it's going to happen to me."

Admitting she has no immediate plans to become a mum, the raved-haired beauty quickly added: "At the moment though, I'm obviously career focused!"

Despite concentrating on her work, Jessie's attention has been elsewhere thanks to her romance with US singer Luke.

Since the couple confirmed they were dating last year, Jessie and Luke have pretty much been inseparable but now she is working on The Voice Australia, the pair have been forced to spend some time apart.

Explaining their hectic work schedules can prove difficult, Jessie said: "My relationship is really important to me and I do all I can to make it work, but it's not easy when you have a busy schedule and are travelling a lot."

Since the starlet has been staying in Australia, Luke has travelled over to see Jessie - even if he could only fit in a flying visit.

Five days after arriving in Oz Luke had to leave again to head on tour and Jessie told fans she was already missing her boyfriend.

Sharing a cute selfie of the pair together, she said: "The missing someone feeling I get has gone to a whole new level with this man in my life. 5 days wasn't long enough."

Luckily though, Jessie has plenty to keep her busy with as she is currently filming the blind auditions for the Australian version of The Voice.

She sits on the panel with Ricky Martin, Delta Goodrem and Joel and Benji Madden - who share a double char (pretty cool, huh!).
