Spice Girls Emma Bunton and Mel C had us all pining after our favourite 90s girlband as they stepped out together at the Brit Awards last night.

Proving "girl power" is still going strong, Emma and Mel - better known as Baby Spice and Sporty Spice - brought some serious glamour to the red carpet at London's O2.

Oh, if only Geri Halliwell, Victoria Beckham and Mel B had joined them!

Dressed to impress, Emma and Mel looked gorgeous as they headed inside the awards bash.

While Mel flashed her pins and her trademark arm tattoo in a matching fitted top and pencil skirt, Emma opted to cover up in a tailored suit, adding a splash of colour to her ensemble with a stylish green clutch.

No strangers to the Brits, the girls have been at the awards many times before.

Not only did the girls open the show with that iconic performance (you know the one where Geri wore that Union Jack dress!) of their hit 'Who Do You Think You Are' eighteen years ago, they have also been five-time winners at the awards too.

It's no surprise then that heading in to the O2 last night, Mel was feeling a little nostalgic.

She tweeted: "I always get nostalgic when it's @BRITAwards night. Super excited to be going with my gorgeous baby @EmmaBunton tonight." Aww!

Ahead of their girls' night, Emma treated fans to a selfie with Mel, telling fans the pair were en route to "spicing up the Brits" as they posed in true Spice Girl fashion.

LOVE it!

On the night, Emma and Mel shared the red carpet with a hole host of glammed up celebrities - including the likes of Jesy Nelson and her Little Mix bandmates, Michelle Keegan and fiancé Mark Wright, Rita Ora and Cara Delevingne.

Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith were the Brits' big winners, taking home two awards each. Taylor Swift picked up 'International Female Solo Artist' while Pharrell scooped 'International Male' and One Direction were awarded the 'British Video' gong for their video to 'You & I'.

Throughout the evening, the audience was treated to performances from Ed, Sam, Taylor, Paloma Faith, George Ezra, Kanye West and Madonna. Despite taking a tumble during her set, Madonna has since reassured fans she is "fine".

Although that didn't stop this year's hosts Ant and Dec poking fun!
