Last night (25 February), viewers saw the girls admit to mutual friend Vas J Morgan on separate occasions that their friendship isn't what it used to be.
In a video posted on TOWIE's official website straight after the show, Lauren said: "Me and Chloe made up and I don't think we've quite got it back to how it was before. I don't think anything specifically has happened, it's just a case of drifting I think."
Lauren continued: "I don't know if me and Chloe will be back to where we were. Who knows? It's such a hard thing to say, 'Yes we definitely will be' because I think if it was going to happen we probably would have been by now, and we haven't, but that's life.
"As you get older you're not always going to stay best friends with everyone, but as long as there's no tension then it's fine."
During last night's episode, viewers saw Lauren admit to Vas that it was she who told Leah Wright that Chloe had been texting another man after her split from Elliott Wright. We saw last week how Leah had passed the information on to her brother and Chloe's ex-Elliott, which led to an argument.
After finding out it was Lauren, a disappointed Chloe said it reinforced who her real friends are.
Lauren and Chloe used to be BFFs but the pair fell out over Mario Falcone in series 12. After a seven month bitter fallout, the girls finally patched up their differences in the last series and began to work on reforming their friendship.
