Ricky explained his feelings towards new girlfriend Marnie straight after last night's episode of the ITVBe show, telling fans that he is "much happier now" in his new relationship.
Ricky, who met Marnie at a National Television Award after party last month, hit back at Twitter followers who branded his new relationship "fake".
Defending their romance, he said: "We have better things to do than fake a relationship."
He added: "I am real. If people hate me for that I don't care. But I say it how it is and none of its BS. Trust me I've moved on.
Commenting on his bitter split with Jess last year, Ricky said: "Well I am trying my best. I'm way past that. I'm with a new girl. And I'm treating her well."
In last night's episode, Jess revealed that she and Ricky shared a kiss after the Christmas party in December, where Ricky insinuated that he wanted to try again.
Ricky was later seeing talking to the boys, and while he admitting that they kissed, he denied that he wanted to rekindle their romance. He also hit back saying if he wanted Jess back, he could have her back.
Ricky cryptically wrote during the show: "Funny how it all comes out 5 months later when the cameras are back and I've moved on #convenient."
Jess ended her two-and-half-year relationship with Ricky last year, and it didn't initially end on the best of terms.
The couple called it quits on an episode of TOWIE in November after Jessica accused Ricky of sending flirtatious messages to another girl on Twitter, although he insisted nothing further happened.
