Rumours ran wild this week that Jamie had decided to not film Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed because his wife Amelia Warner was allegedly uncomfortable at the amount of nudity and sexual sequences involved.
We did find that kind of strange as there have been numerous reports that Jamie and his co-star Dakota Johnson are both contracted to appear in all three movies in the trilogy.
As for his wife being uncomfortable... she's been by his side at the movie premieres and looked proud as punch while doing it.
A rep for Jamie issued a statement last night saying simply: "All press reports are pure conjecture as the studio has not committed to a sequel as yet."
Some have pointed out it's interesting wording as it puts the focus on the studio not confirming the next movies yet, rather than specifically speaking about Jamie.
However, a rep for Jamie has now told People: "Jamie is delighted that the film is breaking box office records worldwide and whilst the studio has not made any formal announcements about sequels, he is looking forward to making the next film."
Fifty Shades of Grey broke box office records worldwide on its release earlier this month, with reports suggesting it will take an incredible $500 million in total in ticket sales. A-mazing.
It's based on the first book in E.L. James' erotic trilogy about dominant businessman Christian Grey (Jamie) and his seduction of naive student Ana Steele (Dakota).
