During the last series of TOWIE, viewers watched as Jess called time on her romance with Ricky, after dating for two-and-a-half years.
Since then, the Essex beauty has been enjoying life as a singleton, and opening up to brother Mark Wright on TOWIE: All Back To Essex last night, Jess told him she felt much happier now.
She said: "I am really happy. Everything that's happened has happened. I was with someone for a long time, we broke up and have both gone our separate ways and I couldn't be happier. No disrespect to anyone at all, that's just the way it is."
In October last year, Jess split with Ricky after finding flirty messages he had sent another girl over Twitter. Following their split, things soon turned messy as Ricky hit out at his ex-girlfriend for being "boring" and Jess' family got involved.
But proving all is in the past now, Ricky too told Mark he and Jess are better apart - after joking that it was slightly awkward discussing his split with him as he is Jess' brother!
"We've both moved on," Ricky said. "We're both happier now. We've just let it go now."

While Jess has been enjoying being single and dating again, Ricky has already found himself in another relationship with Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson.
After meeting at an NTAs after-party, the pair have been inseparable with Marnie telling fans she has "fallen badly" for the TOWIE star.
And clearly smitten with her too, Ricky recently admitted he is in love with Marnie. After critics compared his new flame to "classy" ex-girlfriend Jess, Ricky hit back insisting he only wants Marnie as his other half.
"I want @Marniegshore ..we have fun.. we have laughs.. we have the best time," he tweeted. "I want her. I love her."
The pair have both been very public about their new romance on Twitter and Instagram - something Jess claimed she won't be doing during a conversation with her TOWIE co-stars in last night's opening episode.
Following the show, Ricky then tweeted his excitement to get back home to his new girlfriend. And when a user accused the Essex boy of attention seeking, Ricky defended his relationship with Marnie yet again.
He said: "I'm just extremely proud of her and I know how lucky I am."
TOWIE continues this Wednesday 24 February at 10pm on ITVBe.
