Italian singer Andrea, 20, came third in the 2014 series of The X Factor and has signed a mega-money deal with RCA Records.
The star will now be teaming up with a host of big-name songwriters before releasing his debut single and album later this year.
Speaking about his exciting news, Andrea said: "Only a year ago I was a normal student in Italy with a dream to sing.
"Thanks to the British public, my dream is about to become a reality and I can't wait to work with RCA and show everyone what I can do."
Andrea first caught the eye of the X Factor judges when he turned up to his room audition in a jumper adorned with a picture of a pug.
His powerhouse vocals continued to impress and Andrea later found himself in the final, alongside Ben Haenow and Fleur East.
Following a duet with Ella Henderson, Andrea left the show on the first night of a double-bill final, walking away in third place.
Telling fans about his news on Twitter yesterday, Andrea gushed: "YEAH! It happened! Words can't describe my happiness in announcing I've signed to @RCARecords."
Meanwhile, Andrea isn't the only 2014 X Factor contestant to have landed a record deal. While Ben Haenow signed with Simon Cowell immediately after winning the series, runner-up Fleur East has also signed a deal with Sony Music.
The X Factor finalists are currently travelling around the UK and Ireland for this year's official live tour.
