Kim, her sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, and Kim's only child North were travelling together in Montana when the incident is said to have occurred.
According to TMZ, Khloe was driving a black Yukon GMC when she skidded on icy roads.
The website reports that Khloe lost control of the car on an ice-covered Montana road and crossed into oncoming traffic, eventually landing in a ditch.
Although there was no reported damage to the car, the police were told about the incident - one of many on the icy roads that day.
The girls were reportedly driving on Saturday morning (21 Feburary) when a lorry drove by their car, kicking up snow which hit their windshield and obstructed Khloe's vision of the road causing her to swerve onto black ice.
Luckily everyone in the car was unharmed.

Shortly after, Kim expressed her relief at being okay when she tweeted: "Thank you God for watching over us and keeping us safe."
The family had been enjoying a skiing holiday in Montana to celebrate friend Jonathan Cheban's birthday.
The accident comes just two weeks after Bruce Jenner was involved in a vehicle pile-up that left one woman dead.
