The singer, 26, confirmed the sad news in a press statement on Saturday (21 February).
A spokesperson told Reveal: "On behalf on Ray Quinn I can now confirm that he has in fact split from his wife Emma Stephens."
Ray's statement reads: "Unfortunately the speculation is true and Emma and I have regrettably parted ways.
"Out of respect for the privacy of my family, I don't want to delve into my private life too much, however, what I will say is that our lives, after a period of time, have gone down separate paths."
Ray continues by saying: "Despite this obviously being a very difficult period in my life I am keeping busy with my new music and will be continuing with my UK tour and the release of my new single as planned."
Ray, who found fame on The X Factor, met Emma while doing a production of Grease and they got engaged on Christmas Day 2010.
Two years later, they married in Barbados.
Dancing On Ice winner Ray and Emma have a child together called Harry.
He recently took part in BBC talent show Get Your Act Together, but is currently "changing direction back into music".
His brand new single 'They Say Love' is out on Monday 23 February followed by another single out in March.
The album, which is due out in April, has been "crowd-funded" by his fans.
