TOWIE's Lewis Bloor: 'The boys all get along - they only row over girls'

TOWIE star Lewis Bloor has said there's no real rivalry between the male cast members because the boys only ever argue over girls!

Speaking to Scott Mills on Radio 1 yesterday along with co-star Ricky Rayment, Lewis said the "most fun part" of filming the show is just hanging out with the boys.

"When all the boys get together and we get to go away, we all get along," said Lewis. "The only reason the boys row is over a girl. The girls went to Tenerife, we just went for a pint! We all got along, no rows, nothing, but I heard it was pretty wild out there."

Well, earlier this week, Bobby Norris and Lydia Bright told Reveal all about their trip to the Canary Islands, which they called "explosive" and "full of arguments"!

Lewis, who joined TOWIE in October 2013, said negative comments from past story lines has made him realise that he needs to be thick-skinned.

"Me and Ricky have both had arguments with people on the show," said Lewis. "I've just done my first full year on the show, so once you've gone through the first cycle and you've said something that you maybe shouldn't have said and you see the response on Twitter, you realise that you do need to have thick skin."

He added: "No matter what you do, people are going to have a pop at you, but you're always going to have people on your side. It's wicked because we get to talk to everyone who watches the show, but you can't really pay that much attention to it."

Lewis may have joined just over a year ago, but he was actually considered in the original line-up when the show first hit our screens on ITV2 in 2010.

"When the show first started me and Sam Faiers had broken up recently before that, so there were talks about it then," Lewis revealed. "But for whatever reason I didn't make it onto the show. I didn't quite make the cut."

Lewis will be back on our screens this weekend as the brand new 14th series of TOWIE kicks off on Sunday 22 February at 10pm on ITVBe.
