Refusing to name names, Ella has said a certain someone she used to know made her so mad, she just had to pen down her anger.
And luckily for us, it's made a fab new track that she is soon set to release!
Speaking to MTV, the 19-year-old claimed 'Mirror Man' is an "edgy" new tune that is completely different to her usual style.
"For me it's a track that shows a side of my character people don't really get to see - unless you rub me up the wrong way," she warned.
Hinting the guy in question had done just that, Ella revealed: "[The song] is simply about the most self-centred person I've ever met. It's about someone who loves themselves before anyone else."
She then joked: "They probably love themselves so much, they don't even realise it's about them!"
Now we're all intrigued, right?!
'Mirror Man' is the fourth single to be taken from Ella's debut album Chapter One.
Her first 'Ghost' topped the charts after being released and has recently just gone platinum in America after selling over one million copies.
Currently promoting her music over in the States, Ella took to Twitter to celebrate, she tweeted: "Cannot believe #GHOST is now certified PLATINUM out here in the States!!! What an amazing Pancake Day!"

And it seems the celebrations many continue for the starlet, as Ella has been nominated for two awards at this year's Brits.
Not only will she be battling it out for 'British Single', but she is also up for 'British Female Solo Artist' too.
Appearing on ITV's Lorraine recently, Ella revealed she was so excited to be nominated.
"It was less than a year ago that I released my first record," she said. "To now be nominated for two awards, I feel like I've already won something!"
