DJ and fashionista Lauren briefly dated TOWIE co-star Lewis last summer, however their romance came to a bitter end when it emerged he had cheated on her several times.
The couple had a eight-year age gap and Lauren admits this has made her wary of relationships with younger men.
Speaking ahead of this week's series 14 launch, Lauren said she hasn't been put off TOWIE romances, but added: "[My TOWIE relationships] have just put me off younger, immature men - more so Lewis!"
As one of TOWIE's original cast members, Lauren has been involved in lots of fun, laughter and drama over the years. However, she found herself feeling particuarly low last year after falling out with Chloe Sims, Mario Falcone and Charlie Sims.
Thankfully though, a new face was waiting in the wings to rescue her - Vas J Morgan!
"Vas is my best friend in the cast - we have been good friends for the past few years and we just click," Lauren admits. "We don't take things too seriously and we balance each other out well.
"He's also very funny and I was really pleased when he came onto the show, as it came at a low point for me. I had fallen out with Chloe, Mario and Charlie so I had lost my TOWIE friendship group and felt isolated.
"To have someone support me made it easier."
Luckily for both Lauren and fans, the star was able to patch up her differences with Chloe last year. Their row was sparked when Chloe kissed Mario, as Lauren had briefly dated him previously, but the girls are now back on track.
And it's a good job too, as Lauren has fond memories of starring alongside Chloe on TOWIE!
"I have definitely had a lot of ups and downs, but definitely more positives than negatives," Lauren says. "It's just all the laughs I have had - over the years with Chloe and more recently Vas."
This Sunday, Lauren will be back on our screens in the hour-long TOWIE Tenerife special, which will kick off the new series.
