'Skyscraper' singer Sam, who is currently on the road for 'The Power Of Love Tour', said she is now looking "onwards and upwards".
The mum-of-three tweeted last night (16 February): "I wish people wouldn't see the 'Syco thing' as a negative!!! I'm genuinely happy how things are going xx onwards and upwards xx."
Over the weekend, news broke that Sam had been dropped from Syco, and she soon confirmed it herself via a message on Twitter saying she had "parted ways" with the record company.
Since then, Sam has hit back at a few Twitter users about the news. She said: "I know people think I'm devastated but seriously I'm not! I'm a grown woman! All I wanna do is provide for my family. I'm happy."

Sam wrote to another: "If I stayed with Syco I would probably be doing another cover album and I don't want that!"
In December, Sam spoke to Reveal about fears concerning her future music career, after admitting that her recording contract was coming to an end.
She told us at the time: "My contract runs out in two weeks. If you see me begging outside Wembley Arena by 29 December it's because I haven't got another deal. I don't know what's going to happen, I really don't. It depends if I get resigned or not, or if I go to another label. There's so much more left of me."
Sam won series 10 of The X Factor in 2013, and went on to secure a number one single for 'Skyscraper'. Her debut album The Power Of Love was also a chart-topper.
