Georgia Kousoulou has quashed claims of a TOWIE relationship curse while talking about her romance with co-star Tommy Mallet.

Essex stars Georgia and Tommy have been dating since last October and, despite many of their cast mates falling foul to relationship troubles, she believes it has nothing to do with the show.

Appearing on ITV's This Morning today, Georgia said: "I don't believe in the curse. If you're going to cheat, you're going to cheat.

"We're so strong that nothing is going to faze us."

TOWIE viewers saw Georgia and Tommy get together during the series 13 finale last October. Asking her to be his girlfriend, Tommy carved out a message for Georgia in candle-lit pumpkins.

Recalling the moment this morning, Georgia told hosts Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley that Tommy is much more romantic than many people realise.

"He really surprised me with the pumpkins," Georgia admitted. "He's so loud that people don't realise how cute and romantic he is." Aww!

Whether there is a TOWIE curse or not, Georgia and Tommy are one of the few remaining couples on the show and they both stayed in Essex together last week while some of the cast headed to Tenerife to film a one-hour special.

Georgia's co-star Lydia Bright was also interviewed on This Morning today and she admitted that the holiday island has been branded "Tener-grief" by those who were there, due to the amount of rows.

Sounds like a good job you gave it a miss, Georgia!

TOWIE returns to ITVBe at 10pm on Sunday 22 February 2015.
