The X Factor star is set to join the figure hall of fame at Madame Tussauds in Blackpool, and he's pretty excited about it!
"I'm very excited about getting my wax figure at Madame Tussauds," said Olly. "I'm very flattered as I know it's a big honour to have a figure created by such a prestigious attraction. I've really enjoyed getting involved in the process and can't wait to see the finished figure!"
Olly has already taken a selfie with his unfinished figure, which he shared with fans on Twitter this morning. He jokingly said: "Me & Me selfie"
The final figure will see Olly appearing with a microphone in his hand, dressed in a crisp white shirt and denim jeans. His wax figure will sport facial hair, a quiff and Olly's trademark cheeky grin!
Essex singer-songwriter Olly has established himself as a successful artist within the British music industry, some six years after auditioning for the 2009 series of The X Factor, where he finished up in second place.
Matthew Titherington, general manager at Madame Tussauds Blackpool, added: "Olly's figure was commissioned due to an incredibly high demand, our visitors are always asking if there's a wax figure of the star. We're expecting Olly to be one of our most popular figures at the attraction as he's loved by people of all ages due to his fun nature and natural talent."
Olly's wax figure will take centre stage in the Music Zone when it takes up residence in Blackpool from the end of March.
