Almost two years ago, the entire cast of Matilda reunited after 17 years for a weekend celebration to promote a new Blu-ray version of the movie and to film special behind-the-scenes footage for the 17th anniversary.

The reunion proved to be emotional for Kiami, who admitted at the time that seeing her former cast members left her on "the verge of tears."

Matilda, which was based on Roald Dahl's novel, focused around four-year-old Matilda Wormwood who who used her telekinetic powers to escape her overbearing parents.

Mara and Kiami reunited with their co-stars in 2013.

The film, which was directed by Danny DeVito, was a great success and has gone down in history as one of the most popular family movies of all times.

Mara, who has also starred in Mrs. Doubtfire and Miracle on 34th Street, no longer acts on the big screen.

She explained on her blog a few years ago: "I don't have any plans to pursue film acting. It's not my 'thing' anymore, if it ever was. Pursuing a full-time live-action film career does not appeal to me."
