In a moment similar to that stage crash of Taylor Swift back in 2009, the rapper took to the stage after Beck had been presented with his 'Album of the Year' award.
But rather than interrupt him, Kanye appeared to have a change of heart, and simply shook his head and returned to the crowd, where his wife Kim Kardashian was seem laughing.
While plenty of outlets and social media users thought Kanye was just joking around and making reference to that Taylor moment, later on, it appeared Kanye had actually been considering an interruption.
Why? Once again, because of Beyonce!
Back at the MTV Video Music Awards 2009, he crashed Taylor Swift's acceptance speech because he believed Bey should have won the award. Last night, it was the same thing: he thought Beyonce should have won 'Album of the Year'.
"I just know that the Grammys, if they want real artists, to keep coming back, they need to stop playing with us," he told E! News. "We ain't gonna play with them no more, and Beck needs to respect artistry and he should've given his award to Beyonce."
Kanye added that the reason he didn't crash the stage was out of respect for wife Kim and their one-year-old daughter North West. And, um, his clothing line…
Meanwhile, was Beck mad at Kanye almost stealing his limelight? Nope!
According to People, the musician told reporters backstage: "You can't please everybody. I still love him and think he's genius. I aspire to what he does. How many great records has he put out in the last five years, right?"
Beck won the award for his album Morning Phase.
