The 'Stay With Me' singer told Extra TV he was touched when the Kardashian-Jenner clan came to watch him performing at The Forum in LA last month.
He said: "I've met the Kardashians in different formats, like at awards shows and they said they were a fan of my music but a lot of people say that and you don't know if they are!
"Then when Kim and everyone came that was so nice and they were even saying why didn't you sing 'Not In That Way', which shows they have actually have a genuine interest in what I do which is so amazing.
"I actually find them really kind and nice. "
Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim and Khloe Kardashian were joined by Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne for the performance at The Forum.
Kim and Sam also hung out backstage at a US TV show last year, and met up again at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in September.
"I love him. His voice is just... I've never heard anything like it. I think it's so special and he's such a sweet person," she later told BBC Radio 1.
"I've had the chance to meet him a couple of times recently and he's such a kind person. He's really good. He told me he would be walking into Radio 1 today just as I was walking out so we're missing each other.
"I wish I could [stay to hear him perform]."
Meanwhile, Sam is gearing up for this weekend's Grammy Awards where he has been nominated for a string of top prizes including 'Song of the Year' and 'Record of the Year'. He's also in contention for 'Album of the Year' and 'Best New Artist' among others!
He's just the tenth artist in the Grammy Awards history to achieve nominations in the top four General Field categories. Not bad, right?! He's also the second youngest to achieve the honour at just 22 years old. (Mariah Carey was 20 when she did the same thing.)
