The teenage singer-songwriter from Devon has landed a contract with RCA Records to release his debut single 'Hole In My Heart' on 30 March.
Luke finished in third place on the tenth series of X Factor, just behind Nicholas McDonald and winner Sam Bailey.
His track, 'Hole In My Heart', was written by Luke and songwriter Roy Stride, who has also worked with One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer, and is described as an "ode to heartbreak and unrequited love… acoustic driven, melodic and straight from the heart."
The former busker has been away from the limelight since leaving X Factor but has been keeping busy, touring with The Vamps and working on new music.
Last year, a source told the Daily Star that Luke had taken his time with the album because he wanted to make sure it was perfect.
"Luke's album is all but done. The first single is picked. It's an epic anthem, similar to Mumford & Sons. Luke wanted to take his time and produce the strongest album possible and that's what he's done."
