Peter Andre has said he's "so proud" of fiancée Emily MacDonagh following her qualification as a doctor.

This week, Emily finally finished all her medical exams and training and is now a fully qualified physician – and Pete couldn't be happier!

Appearing on ITV's Good Morning Britain, he said: "I can't even argue with her on anything now medically! I'm so proud of her! Doctor Emily!

"She could have obviously done her finals a year ago but fell pregnant and had our wonderful daughter. A lot of people were like, 'Are you going to finish?' She was like, 'Of course I am!' And now she's done it! She's passed her exams! I'm so proud of her! I just hope for her I don't become a hypochondriac…"

Peter and Emily became engaged in January 2014, the same month they welcomed their first child together daughter, Amelia. Pete is also dad to son Junior and daughter Princess from his relationship with ex-wife Katie Price.

Doting dad Pete has been looking after the children while Katie is in the Celebrity Big Brother house, and treated them to a day at the farm with Emily and Amelia last week.

Peter said last year that Amelia's birth had made his relationship with Emily stronger and his life had never been better.

"In this relationship, I can't see anything bad. It's all going so wonderfully… I go home, we put on documentaries, cook, hang out, go for dinner… And although Amelia wasn't planned, she solidified that relationship. It's like consummating a marriage. It's a way of making it real. I love our relationship. We've gone from strength to strength."

Peter and Emily haven't got a date for their wedding yet, as the focus was on Emily qualifying as a doctor first, but have hinted they will have two ceremonies: one English and one Greek.

He told Reveal: "I wanted to be engaged before the baby was born. In fact, I'd have loved to be married before the baby was born. I'm quite traditional and by the traditions set by my mum and dad, you get married and then have kids.

"I know it doesn't always work like that, especially these days – but at least we're engaged now and Emily's my fiancée, not my girlfriend. It feels nice."
