Declan Donnelly has revealed he is hoping to wed fiancée Ali Astall this summer following their recent engagement.

In October, Dec popped the question to manager Ali while holidaying in Australia before ITV's I'm A Celebrity got underway.

And keen to tie-the-knot sooner rather than later, the TV presenter has said he and his other half are planning to wed later this year.

Following a successful night at this year's NTAs on Wednesday - Dec scooped 'Most Popular Entertainment Presenter' alongside Ant McPartlin and 'Most Popular Entertainment Programme' with I'm A Celeb - the 39-year-old told Reveal he is in for a busy year ahead.

Not only will he and Ant be travelling across the country for this year's Britain's Got Talent, the pair also have a brand new series of Saturday Night Takeaway in the pipeline and they will be replacing James Corden to host the 2015 Brit Awards next month.

But will he be able to fit in a wedding too?

Speaking backstage at the NTAs alongside this year's I'm A Celeb cast, Dec said: "Hopefully I'll have time for a wedding. We're hoping to get married in the summer."

Cheering enthusiastically, I'm A Celeb's Jimmy Bullard quipped he would be "paige boy", before runner-up Jake Quickenden voiced his wish to be best man.

Pointing at Ant, Dec suggested he has already found the man for the job, telling Jake: "You'll have to fight him for it!"

Unsurprisingly, Dec has asked his good pal Ant to be his best man for his upcoming nuptials, although he did admit he didn't tell his presenting partner he was planning to propose.

Meanwhile, as the boys prepare to take on the forthcoming Brit Awards - which they are hosting - we wanted to know what exactly they'll be bringing to the table on the night.

When asked, Dec joked: "I'm going to bring some hair gel, some deodorant, probably most of my toiletries..."

Funny guy.

He continued: "We're very excited about hosting it. We did it back in 2001, but we don't really remember doing it.

"We were so nervous and so scared we didn't have a very nice time. We initially said no when we got asked to do it again, but then we thought why not, let's have a laugh and enjoy it this time. Hopefully we can make it fun for everyone."

This year Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith are set to perform on the night, with Take That also taking to the stage for their sixth Brits performance!
