The former Friends star and movie heartthrob Brad Pitt were Hollywood's golden couple until their divorce in 2005 and, even though they've both moved on, they are still constantly referenced alongside each other.
In a candid interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Jen says: "We're not in daily communication but we wish nothing but wonderful things for each other.
"Nobody did anything wrong. You know what I mean? It was just like, sometimes, things happen. If only the world could just stop with the stupid, soap opera b*****t. There's no story. I mean, at this point it's starting to become… please give more credit to these human beings."
Brad is now happily married to Angelina Jolie and the father of six kids, while Jennifer is engaged to actor-writer Justin Theroux.
They haven't set a wedding date yet (although, as she tells THR, she wouldn't tell us if they had!) and have frequently said they're happy with how their relationship is right now.
Jen's spoken often lately about her dislike of being asked about starting a family and again, she says it's a topic that's been "exhausted" and is too personal to address with strangers.
"I get nervous around that just because it's very personal," she said. "Wo knows if it's going to happen? It's been a want. We're doing our best."
Justin's been supporting Jennifer throughout awards season in LA, where she's been nominated for a Golden Globe, Critics' Choice Award and SAG Award for her performance in Cake.
Jen plays a woman with chronic pain in the drama and critics have widely praised her powerful, moving and at times darkly comedic performance.
Unfortunately, the 45-year-old missed out on an Oscar nomination this year but took the news well, jokingly recently at least she's won the title of number one Oscar snub for 2015!
