Former glamour model Katie, 36, made a shock entrance into the CBB house on Friday night but whispers of her leaving are suddenly rife.
Earlier today (19 January), a worried fan tweeted: "Has Kate left the house? I'm devastated, have her down to win the show."
If she had left, this would make Katie the fourth celebrity to leave via the backdoor rather than through an eviction. Baywatch star Jeremy Jackson and former Corrie actor Ken Morley were removed for their bad behaviour, while singer Alexander O'Neal decided to quit yesterday.
However, since her arrival in the house, Katie's brother Danny has been manning her Twitter account and he clearly isn't paying much attention to suggestions that she has quit.
Replying to his sister's follower, Danny jokingly replied: "I hope not, I'm rather enjoying the peace and quiet!"
He has since added: "I can confirm #cbbkatieprice is IN the house and has not walked out as reported - she has only just walked in!"
Although Katie walked away from her second stint on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! in 2009 (she had been nominated to do a whopping seven Bushtucker Trials in a row), something tells us that she won't be quitting Celebrity Big Brother.
Last night, the mum-of-five was shown chatting to fellow housemate Perez Hilton and urging him not to leave the show.
Defiant Katie told him: "Oh come on, it's a gameshow, you don't need to go home. Don't let the gameshow beat you. Just think, out of your whole life, if you're going to stay until the end, you've got a few weeks left.
"I know it sounds a long time, but don't walk. It's silly, honestly. That's all I'm saying - you'd be silly to. Don't do it, you're better than that. Just be strong, I don't want to see tears."
Now, that is definitely not the attitude of a quitter!
