Jessie J wears high-waisted shorts and pants to hide a misspelled tattoo, she has revealed.

Popstar Jessie recalls a secret tattoo blunder on The Graham Norton Show, which will air on BBC One tonight.

Speaking to Graham, Jessie says she hides a "really big" and "awful" tattoo because it is spelled wrong. Oops!

"I did it ages ago and had 'Don't lose who you are in the blur of the star!' tattooed on my side," says Jessie. "Not long after I had it done my mum said to me in tears, 'I don't know how to tell you this but it is spelt wrong'.

"I have 'Don't loose who you are in the blur of the stars!' It's really big which is awful. It's the reason I always wear high-waisted stuff. I'm not going to put a spelling mistake that close to a camera!"

Determined to never make the same mistake again, Jessie declares: "I'm going to get it covered and I'm not having any more tattoos."

Jessie, who will perform her new single 'Masterpiece' on the show, has recently been announced as a new coach on The Voice Australia.

Catch Jessie on The Graham Norton Show tonight at 10.35pm on BBC One.
