The 33-year-old son of late footballer George Best has said he wanted to look his best for the cameras (no pun intended) after learning he would be a housemate on the Channel 5 show.
And as we all know, there is no hiding from the cameras in CBB…
Calum is quoted in the Daily Star as saying he's been losing his hair since his early 20s and having this hair transplant had improved his self-confidence.
He underwent the procedure at Crown Clinic in Manchester under the supervision of hair transplant surgeon Asim Shahmalak, who has shared his expertise on Channel 4 TV show Embarrassing Bodies.
Calum said: "'Nature's plan was for me to have thin and patchy hair across the top of my scalp. But the great thing is, we don't have to follow nature's plan."
His admission to having a third hair transplant was revealed shortly after housemate Chloe Goodman made a dig at his thinning hair in the house.
Calum was left angered when Chloe remarked that he had more hair on his armpit than his head. Ouch.
"He's my mate and he's got a bit of banter... But he's fuming, he's raging. I swear on my life," said Chloe, after Calum walked out of the room.
She insisted she'd just been joking and, when she caught up with Calum to apologise, he promised everything was okay between them.
He added: "Let me just tell you, if you've got anything funny to say, say it to me. I just can't picture you saying something not to me that's actually insulting. I know you're good with banter, I know you're very humorous and I f***ing love you to bits, but I would never insult you not to you."
