The bodybuilder and TV presenter, 36, had just returned from a sun-soaked holiday to Barbados when two unidentified men broke into her property and cars – unaware they had been caught on CCTV.
After the incident, an angry and scared Jodie was quick to tweet the men's images to her one million-plus Twitter followers and urge people to come forward if they recognised either.
Describing the men as "dumb arses", she said: "I have both your faces on CCTV. And I've got you messing with my cars… They also broke into my annex. The scariest part is that I was home alone last night. Never again. I'm moving friends in as from today!"
Jodie warned the men that "for the foreseeable future" she will keep "the cavalry" at her house to ensure her safety and that they are caught.
The star later updated fans to say police and crime scene investigators had visited her to take fingerprints and she was now being comforted by a full house of people.
She added: "I'm now drinking and I don't drink normally. #youknowthisisbad."
Jodie's CCTV images of the suspected burglars were shared across social networking websites, prompting her to thank fans for all their support.
"It really means a lot. It's been a nasty day," she said.
