Fleur, who was runner-up in the last series of the talent show, smiled from ear-to-ear ahead of her appearance on Loose Women.
Just yesterday, it was announced that Fleur had signed a record deal with Simon Cowell's label Syco, making her the first contestant - apart from winner Ben Haenow - to be signed.
Speaking about her happy news today, Fleur told the Loose Women panel: "It hasn't sunk in. This time last year I was sitting in my dressing gown and I was just watching reruns of programme's and just thinking, 'What am I going to do?'
"Singing is all I know and music is all I've ever been passionate about."
With a record deal now in the bag, Fleur will be releasing her debut album later this year.
Fleur was a popular singer on X Factor's 11th series and wowed the judges with her performances each week. Who can forget her performance of 'Bang Bang' at the Judges' Houses? And her spectacular rendition of 'Uptown Funk' at the semi-finals?!
Fleur, who said she was "terrified" of not getting far in competition, added: "I think the whole time I was on the show, nothing sunk in."
