Ken Morley has said he's not interested in whether he gets paid or not by Celebrity Big Brother.

The former Coronation Street star was kicked off the show yesterday following repeated use of language that Big Brother deemed "offensive and unacceptable."

He had been in the house less than a week.

Appearing on ITV's Loose Women today, he said: "People are paid different amounts, of course, whether you get paid or not is not of interest to me, in terms of what happens now.

"It doesn't make a difference to me. What does make a difference to me is what you have not seen. Television edits, the bits they don't want you to see, goes out."

He cited an example of something he claims viewers didn't see.

"Bearing in mind that this programme is edited, Cami Li came downstairs, she walked behind me and she bit me, she bit me hard on the ear, and I jumped up and said 'why have you done that?' and she said 'because you like it'.

"Do you think you saw that? No you didn't and there's a lot more you didn't see."

Ken, 71, had been given a formal warning by Big Brother for unacceptable language before he was booted from the house for repeated breaches of that warning.

Among the comments that sparked complaints from viewers were remarks about the young female housemates' bottoms, describing Alexander O'Neal as a "big fat Negro" and making jibes about Patsy Kensit's heritage.

Ken apologised on today's show if he had offended anyone.
