The US gossip blogger dissolved into sobs after Big Brother gathered the housemates together in the living room yesterday to break the news about Ken's departure.
Tears of sadness? No…tears of joy, according to Perez.
The outspoken blogger has made no secret of his dislike for Ken and it turns out his tears were tears of relief. Between sobbing, he told his housemates: " I feel relived, like this weight has been lifted off the house. I like we are cancer free now."
"Wow, that's heavy," murmured Calum Best.
"It feels that way, like instant healing," sobbed Perez, before excitedly remembering: "I can have my own bed!"
The other housemates reacted in shock to Big Brother's message.
"Housemates, as you know, Big Brother does not tolerate unacceptable language or behaviour in the house. Big Brother would like to inform you that Ken Morley will not be returning to the house. As a result of Ken's departure, tomorrow night's eviction has been cancelled."
Ken had been due to stand for eviction against Chloe Goodman and Alexander O'Neal.
The 71-year-old was booted from the CBB house yesterday morning after a repeated use of unacceptable language despite a formal warning from Big Brother in the past.
This time, he upset Nadia Sawalha by saying he liked looking at the younger women's bottoms in the house, and upset Patsy Kensit by making derogatory marks about her nationality and heritage.
Perez was later given a stern talking to from Big Brother for what could have been perceived as a threat against Ken, after he whispered to Ken that if he was Ken, he'd be worried about his safety when he left the house.
