Celebrity Big Brother star Cami Li has opened up about the death of her sister, adding that tragedy inspired her to study law.

US fetish model Cami, 28, was just nine years old when a "career criminal", who was being chased by the police, ran a red light and ploughed into her beloved sibling.

Although her sister was 21 at the time, she and Cami shared a close bond and the CBB star still struggles with what happened to this day.

Speaking to The Sun prior to entering the Big Brother house last week, Cami admitted that she hoped she could get justice for her sister by studying to become a lawyer.

"He stole a car, the police were chasing him, he ran a red light and he killed her," she tearfully explained. "That's why I wanted to become a lawyer because the injustice of the trial was just ridiculous."

Tattoo fan Cami, who was previously engaged to TOWIE star Kirk Norcross was one of 14 familiar faces to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house last week.

During her time on the show, Cami has not shied away. In addition to spilling juicy details about her relationship with Kirk, Cami provided a shoulder to cry on for Chloe Goodman after shamed housemate Jeremy Jackson drunkenly exposed her breast.

Cami was also shown standing up to Ken Morley and branding him a "pervert" prior to his removal from the CBB house yesterday morning (12 January).

Tonight, it is rumoured that a new celebrity will be joining the lineup following Ken and Jeremy's departures.
