Katy Perry has revealed she's feeling pretty nervous ahead of her upcoming halftime performance at next month's Super Bowl.

'Roar' singer Katy will be joining an elite club of artists, including the likes of Beyonce and Madonna, when she steps onto music's biggest stage on 1 February.

Speaking on US chat show TODAY, Katy revealed: "Can I be human and say yes, I will be nervous! But I'm going to kind of recycle those nerves and make them adrenaline."

Last year's halftime performance by Bruno Mars was watched by 150 million people.

Popstar Katy admitted that the thought of being watched by millions left butterflies in her stomach, but she teased fans about her "entrances and exits". Katy even joked that she may arrive in a "pink polka dot" helicopter - interesting!

Joining Katy on stage will be special guest Lenny Kravitz, who she described as "an incredible rock and roll icon, a guitar god" and "the king of cool".

Katy callled Lenny her "first special guest", so does that mean other superstars will be joining her on stage? We reckon this is going to be a spectacular showcase!
