A statement released by CBB producers this afternoon read: "Ken Morley has been removed from the Celebrity Big Brother house for using unacceptable and offensive language following his formal warning.
"Tuesday's eviction is now cancelled and lines are now closed. Anyone who has already voted will be able to apply for a full refund and details will be available on the Big Brother website within 24 hours."
Ken had been up for eviction against Chloe Goodman and Alexander O'Neal.
Celebrity Big Brother bosses have given no further information about what led to Ken's removal, whether it was linked to the previous comments he made or whether he had made new comments.
Ken, 71, was given a formal warning by Big Brother at the weekend for his use of offensive language, which included making lewd comments towards the women, such as asking Michelle Visage a sexually charged question.
He was also accused of making unacceptable remarks towards US singer Alexander, which prompted Alexander's wife Cynthia to call for Ken to be removed from the house.
"I can't believe the choice of words," she told The Sun. "It's disgusting, it's despicable, it's something that should never come out of anyone's mouth anymore."
According to The Mirror, more than 200 viewers registered complaints with watchdog Ofcom after hearing Ken's comments.
Ken is the second housemate to be removed from Celebrity Big Brother this year following unacceptable behaviour.
Ex-Baywatch star Jeremy Jackson, 34, was kicked out of the CBB compound following a drunken incident at the weekend where he was accused of pulling open Chloe's dressing gown to expose her bare breast.
Hertfordshire Police have said they are investigating the groping allegation in coordination with CBB bosses.
Jeremy has now left the UK and flown back to the US.
