Last week, viewers saw young actress Charlotte reprise her role for the second series of the hit ITV1 thriller as Chloe Latimer, the sister of murdered schoolboy Danny.
Over 7.5 million people tuned in last Monday to watch the return of Broadchurch, and there was a huge twist in store, as Joe Miller - the husband of Detective Sergeant Ellie Miller (Olivia Colman) - who was revealed as the murderer at the end of series one, pleaded not guilty to the crime.
"It was a good twist," Charlotte told Lorraine Kelly this morning. "I didn't know how they were going to do it.
"I love the way they've gone with it. The first series I got paid a pound not to say anything. It was like a contract because they have to sort of give you something not to say anything. So they were like, 'We're donating one pound', and I was like, 'Well I'll just give you two pounds and I'll tell everyone'!"
But just like the rest of the cast, Charlotte has to kept details of the storyline top secret.
"I didn't tell anyone," she continued. "I didn't tell my mum or dad... it felt very powerful."
With the drama series returning for its second episode tonight, Charlotte said fans should most definitely tune in: "You can't miss it! You can't, it'll be everywhere!"
Charlotte will actually be on the TV twice tonight, as viewers will also be able to see her on Waterloo Road as troubled new student Kenzie Calhoun.
"It was great, I felt really lucky while I was doing it," she explained. "It was amazing. It was like one week I'd do Waterloo Road in the day and then that evening I'd fly to Exeter or Dorset, film the next day [for Broadchurch], and then fly back to Glasgow.
"It was just great because it's so rare that you get to do two things at once. It just felt like the luckiest thing in the world."
And as if Broadchurch and Waterloo Road wasn't enough, Charlotte is also currently starring in a play called 3 Winters at the National Theatre, and she will be hitting the big screens later this year in new action adventure film Jupiter Ascending.
Starring alongside Eddie Redmayne, Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum, Charlotte will play Kiza, the daughter of Sean Bean's character Stinger.
Broadchurch airs tonight at 9pm on ITV1. Waterloo Road airs on BBC One at 10.35pm.
