The Saturdays star Frankie pulled out of the upcoming Strictly Live because she's expecting her second child with husband Wayne Bridge.
Former Strictly contestant and S Club 7 singer Rachel was then drafted in as a last-minute replacement. After hearing the news, Frankie said: "Wishing Rachel Stevens so much luck for the Strictly Tour. I couldn't think of anyone better to look after Kevin Clifton."
She added that she is "still gutted" not to be taking part.
Frankie and pro partner Kevin finished in second place on the most-recent series of Strictly Come Dancing, just behind Caroline Flack and Pasha Kovalev.
The Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour begins 16 January in Birmingham and will feature show stars including Caroline, Mark Wright, Simon Webbe and
Rachel said of joining the tour: "I'm really happy for Frankie and Wayne - it's great news to start the New Year with! I know she's disappointed not to be doing the tour - I was supporting Team Frankie during the show and she was fantastic - but I'm happy to be able to step in for her.
"It's no secret that I loved my time in Strictly and that I'm a big fan of the dances, so I'm excited to be back and to get my dancing shoes on again."
Frankie's pregnancy was revealed yesterday along with the news she is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarium, a form of severe pregnancy sickness that Kate Middleton also experienced.
