Last month, Eddie tied the knot with long term girlfriend Hannah, but it seems his big day didn't completely go to plan.
Opening up on his recent nuptials, the actor said: "[Hannah] was a good half hour late!"
Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last night, Eddie named and shamed his wife for not turning up on time for their big day.
He said: "She has never been on time for anything in her life."
Aware that Hannah wasn't the best when it came to time-keeping, the 33-year-old claimed he had planned ahead for her late arrival.
"My job was to find the venue," he told Ellen. "I made sure the place where we were having the reception was next to the chapel so that when she didn't turn up on time I could go 'Wait! We're coming!'"
While most groomsmen would be slightly panicked finding themselves wifeless at the altar, Eddie said he managed to keep his cool.
"Everyone else was really stressed, but I was kind of relaxed," he continued. "[I knew] that she'd never been on time for pretty much anything in her life. Her grandfather had to help in summoning her."
Les Miserables star Eddie married Hannah in December at Babington House in Somerset - the same place where Millie Mackintosh and Professor Green chose to tie the knot.
Eddie's rep confirmed the happy couple's news, but kept quiet on any of the details.
Their wedding comes six months after their engagement in June.
Hannah and Eddie revealed they were set to wed via an announcement in The Times.
It read: "The engagement is announced between Edward, son of Mr and Mrs Richard Redmayne of London, and Hannah, daughter of Mr Nicholas Bagshawe and Mrs Caryl Bagshawe, both of London."
