The former Apprentice candidate and TV personality has long been linked to the new series of the Channel 5 show and if she does appear, that will inevitably mean plenty more controversial comments…
A source told Daily Star that bosses have already planned for extra lawyers to be on standby to monitor what Katie says and what can be aired.
"Katie is sure to be a hit with Big Brother fans but she's also made a name for herself by crossing the line with some of her rants and BB bosses want to make sure she doesn't go too far," said the insider.
Katie's most recently been making headlines for her stance on obesity. She purposefully gained more than three stone for a TLC reality show in a bid to demonstrate how easy it is to gain weight by eating too much and exercising too little.
She then lost the weight in a bid to show weight loss can be achieved by calorie cutting and exercise.
CBB kicks off its brand new series on Wednesday, 7 January, when host Emma Willis will be on hand to welcome a new bunch of housemates to the compound.
Other celebrities rumoured to be taking part include US gossip blogger Perez Hilton, former X Factor contestant Marcus Collins and reality star Calum Best.
