The 'Shake It Off' singer smiled for the cameras in Manhattan while leaving a building on New Year's Eve ahead of her big performance in Times Square.
Taylor, 25, bundled up against the cold in black skinny jeans and a cute black coat, teamed with matching olive green ankle boots and a handbag. She added a pop of colour with a red trimmed hat and a glimpse of a red jumper underneath her jacket.
The popstar was pictured en route to Times Square where she performed as part of Ryan Seacrest's New Year's Rockin' Eve extravaganza.
Despite the insanely cold temperatures in New York, the starlet stripped to just a crop top and leggings to perform for the huge crowd ahead of the Ball Drop.
Ahead of singing smash single 'Shake It Off', she said: "I know that in 2014 you may have some things that irritated you, things that really got under your skin, somebody said something that really bothered you. Right now is the time, New York City. I want to see you shake, it, off!"
As for her skimpy attire, she admitted: "I'm absolutely freezing. This was the wrong choice!"
Well, we could have told you that Taylor! Crop tops plus a New York winter DO NOT MIX!
Poor old Taylor had a bit of a mishap as she left the stage following her performance when she tumbled down a flight of stairs. Luckily she wasn't hurt and immediately bounced back up, smiling at the accident.
