The Big Bang Theory star shared her feelings on the subject in the new issue of Redbook… but plenty of people didn't seem too impressed by what she said.
Now, the actress has spoken out to say her comments have been taken out of context and people should read her full thoughts before making a judgement.
She said: "In my Redbook article some people have taken offence to my comments regarding feminism - if any of you are In the "biz" you are well aware of how words can be taken out of context.
"I'm completely blessed and grateful that strong women have paved the way for my success along with many others. I apologise if anyone was offended. Anyone that truly knows me, knows my heart and knows what I meant. "
Kaley was quoted as saying feminism isn't a topic that she tends to think about too often, saying: "Things are different now, and I know a lot of the work that paved the way for women happened before I was around ... I was never that feminist girl demanding equality, but maybe that's because I've never really faced inequality."
She also spoke about loving her role as a housewife and how she enjoys making dinner for her husband Ryan Sweeting five nights a week.
"I'm so in control of my work that I like coming home and serving him," she said.
Kaley, 29, and Ryan, 27, celebrated their first wedding anniversary on New Year's Eve.
The beautiful couple stunned fans last year by tying the knot just six months after meeting. They were introduced by mutual friends and, according to Kaley, tennis player Ryan basically moved into her home the next day and never left.
Ryan proposed after three months together.
