The opera star will be appearing at the Brandenburg Gate to mark the end of the year but isn't phased by the HUGE audience expected.
"I more look forward to that," she told ITV's Lorraine.
"I think it will be really exciting. Usually if it's a really big occasion and there is a pressure to make sure everything goes to plan I can get nervous, but if I know it's just me, an orchestra and the audience I love it."
Katherine - who wed filmmaker Andrew Levitas in September - spent her Christmas holidays with family in Wales, including her sister's newborn baby.
Next year, she'll be back on the road touring the UK across February and March.
"That's the most exciting part for me," she said. "On this album I've been able to make it exactly what I want it to be, but then to take it out on the road and see everybody's reaction is the best bit."
Katherine said American artist and director Andrew will be joining her on tour which will give him a chance to get to know the UK more.
