Ellie Goulding may have had all eyes on her at her charity gig last night, but there was only one person she was looking at... her boyfriend Dougie Poynter.

The McBusted star joined his girlfriend on stage as she rounded up her 'Ellie Goulding And Friends' concert - in support of the homeless - at Shepherds Bush O2 Empire.

Picking up his tambourine, Dougie stepped in to provide the backing and a smitten Ellie couldn't have been happier to have her beau by her side.

Sharing a super sweet picture of the pair together on stage, Ellie simply posted an emoji of a heart alongside it.

But, did the couple treat the audience to one of their duets?

Last month, Ellie revealed she and Dougie often sing together when they're alone.

"We sing together right," she explained. "Not in a really cheesy way, but we sing in a jokey way because we used to like the same bands. That's one of the things we've bonded over."

Praising her boyfriend's vocals, she added: "His voice literally makes me melt, and he doesn't believe me! When he sings I just, like, collapse. I love it so much. I wish he would sing more."

Dougie's appearance on stage comes after his current flame Ellie - who he has been dating since May - crashed McBusted's performance on The Xtra Factor on Sunday night.

Following the X Factor final - where Ben Haenow was crowned this year's winner - McBusted joined Sarah-Jane Crawford as the Xtra Factor's house band for the final show.

And, stealing her boyfriend's spot in the band, Ellie joined the rest of the McBusted gang to rock out.

Well, it seems only fair then that Dougie returned the favour...

For her one off gig yesterday evening, Ellie teamed up with the charity Streets of London in the hope to raise awareness and funds for the homeless in the capital.

And, helping her to do so where her musical pals, as Bastille, Tom Odell, Birdy and Gabrielle Aplin alll performed on the night too.
