The former TOWIE star was pictured looking upset and with smears of blood across of her face following the incident in Derby over the weekend.
Maria, 28, tweeted last night: "Thank you for all the messages. I have the best people around me."

According to Daily Star, the attack happened as Maria and friends were walking through Derby city centre at around 2.30am.
A spokesperson for the reality star said it was a "random attack" and that Maria was too "shocked" to discuss it right now.
The rep assured fans: "Maria is fine and is now just resting up. She is more shocked than anything."
Police have confirmed they are investigating.
Before the assault, Maria had been tweeting and Instagramming pictures of herself on a night out, looking happy with pals.
