The singer was clearly in a jubilant mood as he appeared on ITV's Good Morning Britain today, the day after winning the eleventh series of X Factor.
In such a good mood, in fact, that he played along when host Ben Shephard asked if he'd like to say anything to his girlfriend on air.
After admitting his girlfriend was eager to marry, Ben joked: "Jess… will you... will you put the coffee on?!"
Ben said that Jess was more than ready to take things to the next step, saying: "My missus has practically cut her finger off and left it around the house! I love her to bits and we've been together a long time."
He also spoke about the experience bringing his family together.
"My mum and dad were both there on Sunday and they've not been in the same room for a long long time, and I wanted them both there as it was obviously going to be a big moment for both of them, so I think it has."
The new star also admitted he was sure Fleur East would beat him in the finale: she was the bookies' favourite to scoop the title but in the end, it was Ben who won with 57% of the vote.
"I think it's all a dream," said Ben. "I have to keep pinching myself at the moment. It doesn't feel real. It's absolutely incredible to be here."
Ben's winner's single 'Something I Need' is available now.
Oh, and it's worth noting that GMB presenter Charlotte Hawkins had pegged Ben as the winner from the start! When the presenters' choices for winner were revealed this morning, Charlotte came out top having predicted Ben!
