After missing last night's first part of the finale through illness, Mel B returned to SSE Wembley Arena on Sunday evening (14 December) alongside Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh.
Mel B looked rather overwhelmed when she stepped onto the stage, clutching Louis' hand.
"I really missed being here," she told Dermot O'Leary.
"Thanks to all the doctors and nurses who took care of me and got me here tonight."
It has not been confirmed what was wrong with Mel B, but she is believed to have spent a couple of days in hospital after being taken for medical treatment on Thursday.
She was forced to skip a planned X Factor press conference on Thursday afternoon because she was feeling poorly.
As for whether she feels better now, she told Dermot: "Yes...ish."
Mel's absence last night meant the producers drafted in former judge Tulisa as a replacement; "super sub" as Dermot called her. Tulisa was there to support Mel's contestant Andrea Faustini in the final.
"I was texting him all eveing," said Mel. "He did such a good job - he made the final! I love him."
Tonight's final will see Fleur East or Ben Haenow crowed winner.
