Left with no acts remaining in the competition, Cheryl and Louis will be sitting in unbiased seats for tomorrow night's big final.
But, who would they like to see take the X Factor crown? Mel B's remaining boy Andrea Faustini, or one of Simon Cowell's acts Fleur East or Ben Haenow?
Speaking at a press conference ahead of Saturday night's final, the two judges finally admitted who their favourite to win the X Factor is - after a little persuading, that is!
Unwilling to name a winner to begin with, Cheryl - whose final act Lauren Platt was last to be eliminated - decided to be diplomatic, suggesting all three have what it takes to come out on top.
She said: "I think you can make a viable argument for everyone. They've all got their own thing.
"Andrea is our very own male diva and he's going to kill it with the vocal. Fleur - I don't think we've ever had anybody like her before, someone who can sing, dance and rap, the whole shebang. And then we've got Ben, the little hearthrob who is going to have the ladies voting for him and his gravelly voice."
But, when pushed to make a choice, Cheryl finally gave in, saying she wanted Fleur to win the show.
"I've always had the girls, so I'm going to go for the last remaining girl, Fleur," she revealed.
Unlike his fellow judge, when asked the same question, Louis - who mentored the groups this series - was very quick to reply.
Not beating around the bush, he said: "I'm going to pick Ben."
Meanwhile, Simon prepared the three finalists for Saturday's night final, telling them they needed to "make their own moment" on the night, if they wanted to be crowned the winner.
"If you have a song you believe in," the music mogul explained. "You need to turn it into a moment that could literally change your life."
Recalling earlier "moments" in the series, Simon continued: "Andrea at the six chair challenge show you had a moment with 'I Didn't Know My Own Strength' which you will be remembered for.
"At the lives, Ben you sang 'Jealous Guy' and at that point I thought 'he's going to make a good recording artist'.
"But, the biggest moment of the show so far was when Fleur was given a song no one would have heard of before - only had 6-8 hours to rehearse it - and, in my opinion, gave the best X Factor or any other talent show performance I have ever seen in 12 years. That's what you need to do this weekend."
Joining the finalists and performing on Saturday night too are the likes of One Direction, Demi Lovato, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran and Take That.
The X Factor continues this Saturday 13 December at 8.30pm on ITV.
