Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright finally got to spend some time together last night after attending a prestigious awards ceremony in London.

The couple, who are due to marry next year, were pictured on the red carpet at The Sun Military Awards and they looked super-glamorous as they posed for photographers.

Showing off her slender figure, Michelle opted for a sophisticated monochrome gown, which featured a white bodice with beading and a long black skirt with dramatic split.

The former Coronation Street actress wore her long hair half-up and half-down and she added a pop of colour to her outfit with a bright red pout.

Mark, meanwhile, looked very dapper in a tuxedo and placed his arm around his fiancée's waist before heading inside the event, which was held at the National Maritime Museum.

In recent weeks, Mark and Michelle have barely had a second together due to their busy schedules. While Michelle has been filming new drama Ordinary Lives, Mark has had his hands full with Strictly Come Dancing training.

This weekend he will appear in the BBC One show's semi-final, so we're pleased to see he managed to find some time away from the dancefloor to accompany Michelle out last night!

During a recent interview with The Mirror, Mark spoke about how hard it has been to be apart from Michelle.

"About three weeks ago I'd been really missing her and she'd been really missing me," he told the newspaper.

"I sent her 27 roses and I said on the card, 'Here's 27 roses – this is how many days it's going to be until we're together'."

Aww, what a true romantic!
