The singer and his fellow finalists, Andrea Faustini and Fleur East, are each touring the UK on their 'Battle Buses' and Ben's pulled in to his hometown of Croydon in London earlier today (9 December).
First stop on his tour was Sainsbury's, where Ben's mum Rosanna works on the checkouts. Piling into the store with a camera crew, the X Factor contestant's arrival certainly caused a stir!
Ben not only chatted to her in the aisles, he then marched his mum out of the shop and onto the bus. We hope her boss was ok with that!
The X Factor have now shared several photos from Ben's surprise visit with fans, including one of all the crowds inside the supermarket.
Alongside the collage of snaps it read: "We've just been to surprise @Bhaenow's mum and work and bring her on Ben's #xfbattlebus."
Meanwhile, Ben has also posted a shot of himself and his mum sitting together on the bus, adding: "My mum has arrived in the #XFBattleBus!! Xx." Aww!
X Factor fans saw the finalists being shown their Battle Buses on Sunday night and, since then, the trio have been independently touring the UK to drum up support ahead of this weekend's final.
But while Fleur East has been able to return to her hometown of Walthamstow, Italian-born Andrea Faustini has had to make do with a trip around central London. It's not all bad though, as he is only performing in Leicester Square this afternoon!
Now, not many people can say they've done that!
This weekend, Ben, Fleur and Andrea will go head-to-head in the 2014 X Factor final. But who will win? Only you can decide!
