The former Girls Aloud singer was bound to be feeling disappointed that her act Lauren Platt narrowly missed a place in this year's final, but didn't let it show as she faced the cameras outside the London studio.
Cheryl had been mentoring the Girls Category this year, which had featured Lauren Platt, Chloe-Jasmine Whicello, Stephanie Nala and Lola Saunders.
Lauren was the final act left in the live shows for Cheryl, and she was up against Ben Haenow, Fleur East and Andrea Faustini for a place in the finals.
Last night, she sang for survival against Andrea after falling into the bottom two and, unfortunately for Lauren, all the judges except Cheryl chose to save Andrea.
After the show, Lauren tweeted: "I promise I won't be giving up guys! I love love love you all and thank you all so much."
Cheryl added: "Thank you so much to everyone who supported @laurenplatt7 It means the world to her. And it's not the end for her either. Lots of love."
The X Factor final airs next weekend on ITV.
