The 'Really Don't Care' singer, 22, was asked about her inspirations during a new interview with Fitness Magazine, and it was 'Drunk In Love' star Beyonce who leapt to mind.
Demi said: "My current life motto: 'If Beyoncé can do it, I can do it' If she can work out, have the incredible body she has, have a kid, and be as successful as she is, then I sure as hell can, too."
The former Disney star went on to cite other famously curvy women such as Kim and Khloe Kardashian for helping make boobs and bums sought after assets.
"Say what you will about the Kardashians, but they've really helped make curvy bodies beautiful again," said Demi.
"It's so nice to look around and see women with hips and a butt, like Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Lopez. They have great figures, but you know they also work really hard for them and don't try to hide their curviness.
Demi has been open in the past about overcoming her struggles with body confidence.
Her advice to women in the same situation?
"We all have problem areas. I'm always going to have thick thighs. I can't change that, and obsessing over it will only make me miserable. Learning to be grateful for our bodies and taking care of them are the best ways for us to empower ourselves physically, mentally, and spiritually."
Meanwhile, in other Demi new, she surprised fans at a Jessie J concert in San Jose earlier this week.
Demi made a guest appearance alongside Jesse in California on 3 December, joining her for a rendition of 'Bang Bang', taking on the vocals usually sung by Ariana Grande.
She later tweeted: "That just happened! Thank you SO much Jessie J for having me on stage for Bang Bang. It was an honour!"
