The N'Dubz singer served on the judging panel for two years before leaving in 2013 to focus on other projects, including her music career.
Since then, she's faced a tough time which included going to trial on a drugs charge that she denied. The case was later thrown out by the judge. Now, she says she feels strong and happy and would be up for tackling the challenge of X Factor once again.
Tulisa, 26, told MailOnline: "Going back to X Factor is something I feel I could definitely do now because of the place I'm in.
"I understand with that show that for anyone doing it, it takes a lot of energy and you have to feel it and want to do it, and you have to have that passion. The place I'm in now, I definitely have that back again, and it is something that I would and could do."
Well, no doubt Louis Walsh would be thrilled!
Tulisa struck up a close friendship with the Irish judge during her time on the show, and they've remained firm friends even after her departure.
'Young' singer Tulisa has credited Louis with sticking by her during her tough last year, while Louis has spoken openly of how he likes Tulisa and would love to work with her again.
Earlier this year, he invited Tulisa to join him in Bermuda to help choose his X Factor finalists for the live shows, and she has appeared as a mentor to Stereo Kicks.
"I loved having Tulisa back for judges' houses," he told Daily Star earlier this year. "I loved having her back and I absolutely love her. I'm really good friends with her. I adore her.
"She's a great judge, she's a great mentor and she was really honest in Bermuda, she really was. She helped me pick my top three well."
Louis currently judges alongside Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Mel B.
