Westlife back in 1998.

It was even suggested ex-member Brian McFadden could be on board!

Sadly, it's not to be…

Kian tweeted this morning: "Guys, I'm sorry to say, but I don't know where these rumours are coming from about a Westlife reunion but it's untrue. Sorry #westlifeforever."

Irish boyband Westlife were formed back in 1998 by Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh and went on to have mammoth success, selling more than 50 million records worldwide.

Brian departed the band in 2004, shortly before their fourth tour.

Remaining members Kian, Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne and Mark Feehily continued as a four-piece until 2012, holding their final concert in Ireland.
